Dheyani, a Bay Area native, is a sports enthusiast and loves being outdoors. She has worked in many different settings, including acute care post-operative rehab, neuromuscular inpatient rehab, outpatient orthopedic clinics, and sports medicine facilities. In between helping patients achieve their goals, she loves reading research articles and learning new treatment methods.

Paying cash, explained

Dr. Dheyani Malde, PT, DPT is out-of-network, so the price you see is the price you pay — no bills later. If your plan includes out-of-network benefits, you can file afterwards and often get part of it back.

How it works

You pay your PT directly and get your receipt automatically.
Your plan sets its own “fair price” for the visit and reimburses a percentage of that after your out-of-network deductible.
You submit the paperwork to your insurer (we walk you through it) — most people hear back in 4–6 weeks.

Physical therapy for a specific condition is generally a qualified medical expense, so you can usually pay with pre-tax HSA or FSA dollars.
